These gooey, thick and chewy Oreo blondies are loaded with Oreo pieces and chocolate chips! They’re so easy to make, plus they’re made in one bowl with no mixer required. I’ve tested this recipe with regular dairy ingredients as well as dairy free to make sure that it works both ways!

I am such a big believer that almost everything tastes better with Oreos, so I decided to take my classic blondie recipe and turn it into yet another insanely delicious Oreo dessert.

These Oreo blondies have a perfect crinkly top and are perfectly gooey on the inside. Inspired by my Oreo brownies, every bite has Oreo cookies and chocolate chips in it. What could be better?

These blondies are easy to customize, and you can add white chocolate chips, seasonal add-ins, or even different flavors of Oreo cookies. Everyone who I’ve made them for has gone back for seconds and absolutely loved them!

They don’t require any leavener (baking soda or baking powder) which is partly what helps us achieve the brownie-like texture, instead of being cakey. You just need a few very simple pantry staples to whip up this recipe!

Ingredient Notes

Oreo blondies ingredients in small bowls
  • Butter: you can use regular butter or dairy free butter. When testing this recipe, I preferred salted because I like my desserts less sweet.
  • Oreos: I’ve tested this recipe with regular Oreos, but you can also use double stuf Oreos or different flavored Oreos!

Recipe Developer Expert Tips

  • When making blondies with Oreos in them, don’t be tempted to mix the batter too much either before or after adding the Oreos. This can affect the texture of the blondies.
  • These blondies are meant to be gooey. They are not meant to be cakey (or dry), otherwise you have over-baked them! Be sure to start doing the toothpick test early to avoid overbaking.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup (158 g) butter, melted, (regular or vegan)
  • 1 cup (200 g) light brown sugar
  • ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • cup (220 g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (90 g) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 14 Oreo cookies, chopped, (plus 1-2 more for topping if desired)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°Fahrenheit and line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl, then add the light brown sugar and granulated sugar to the melted butter. Whisk until it forms almost a paste and starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract and whisk until combined.
  • Add the flour and salt, gently stir until the dry ingredients have just combined.
  • Stir in the chopped Oreos and chocolate chips.
  • Pour the blondie batter into your prepared pan. If you want you can sprinkle extra chocolate chips and Oreo cookies on top.
  • Bake the Oreo blondies for 25-35 minutes. A toothpick inserted should come out with a few wet crumbs, but no batter (not completely clean)! Let the blondies cool completely in the pan before slicing.

Notes

Baking Time: This will vary depending on your oven, as well as your pan.
If using a glass baking dish instead of aluminium, the brownies will take longer to bake.
