This apple blueberry crisp is the perfect sweet and slightly tart dessert! Made with fresh apples and blueberries, it’s topped with a warm, spiced, crunchy oat crisp topping.
Preheat the oven to 350° Fahrenheit and grease an 8x8 square baking dish or a 9 inch round baking dish with butter.
In a large bowl, add oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and butter. Use your hands, a fork, or a pastry cutter to mix everything together until it's fully combined. Set aside while you prepare the filling.
Filling
Add the sliced apples and blueberries to a large bowl and toss with cinnamon and vanilla extract. Pour the mixture into the baking dish.
Sprinkle the crisp mixture evenly over top of the fruit. Bake for 40-50 minutes, until the top is a light golden brown.
Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream (dairy free or regular). Enjoy!
